Technical Setup & Configuration

Set the program name, overview description, and key dates that appear on your public-facing pages.

Create each category with its name, description, and eligibility requirements. Verify nothing is missing.

Set up your scoring criteria (Quality, Innovation, Impact, Presentation) with the correct percentage weights.

Configure early-bird deadline, regular deadline, and late deadline (if applicable) with correct timezones.

Link your organization's Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Entry fees go directly to your account with zero commission.

Set up early-bird, regular, and late pricing. Add member vs non-member rates if applicable.

Submit a test entry with payment to verify the full flow works. Confirm the payment appears in your Stripe dashboard.

Check that entrants receive a payment receipt and entry confirmation after paying.

Add fields for entry title, written narrative, supporting materials (file uploads), metrics, and any category-specific questions.

Configure word limits, required fields, accepted file types (PDF, images, video links), and maximum file sizes.

Fill out the form yourself as if you were an entrant. Test file uploads, word limits, and category selection.

Check how entries appear to judges. Ensure all fields are visible, files open correctly, and scoring fields are clear.

Create accounts for each confirmed judge. Send login credentials and verify they can access the platform.

Set up how entries are distributed to judges: category-based panels, random assignment, or manual assignment.

Log in as a judge, score a test entry, and verify scores calculate correctly. Check that weighted averages match your criteria.

Check how the public results page will look with winners, scores, and judge comments displayed.
