Managing Your Entry

View, edit, and track your award program entry on AwardKit. Get back to your entry with an email code from any device.

Every entry on AwardKit gets a dedicated page. After submitting, you receive a confirmation email with a link to it, and the program page lists it under Your Entry whenever you visit.

What you can do

From your entry page, you can:

  • View your full entry: name, summary, every answer with embedded videos and uploaded files, team members, and categories
  • Edit your entry while entries are open, using the Edit Entry button
  • Track its status in the Status card: Submitted, Last updated, and whether it is Editable, plus a Deadline approaching! notice as the close date nears
  • See payment details if the program charges a fee: the Amount, the Pricing period, any Discount, and whether tax is included. See Paying entry fees
  • Pay or complete a payment with Pay balance, Complete payment, or Restart payment, depending on the state
  • Submit another like this: open a new entry form prefilled with your answers, team, and categories
  • See awards won after results are published, displayed with award badges
  • Access certificates for each team member with Add to LinkedIn buttons (see Certificates)

Editing entries

Click Edit Entry on your entry page to update any of your responses. Edits are saved when you submit the form, and the page confirms with "Entry updated successfully!". Once the organizer closes entries or the deadline passes, the Edit Entry button disappears and your entry is locked.

If you need to make a late edit (typo in your team list, broken link), reach out to the organizer. Organizers can edit entries on behalf of entrants even after the deadline.

Getting back to your entry

There is no password. Open the entry link on any device and, if you're not already recognized, the page shows Get back to your entry: click Email me a code, enter the 6-digit code from your inbox, and the entry opens. Every code is single-use and fresh. If you set a password on your AwardKit account at some point, Sign in instead takes you to the sign-in page.

The code only works for an email address on the entry: the lead's, or any team member's. Team members can open the entry the same way.

If you can't find the email with your entry link:

  1. Open the program page; your entries are listed under Your Entry once you confirm your email
  2. Ask the program organizer; they can look up your entry and send you the link

Sharing your entry

Your entry page is private to the people on the entry: anyone else who opens the link is asked for a code they cannot receive. To show your work publicly, point people to the program's entry gallery once the organizer opens it, or to your certificate.

For a public, shareable record of an award you won, share your certificate verification page. Each certificate has a unique public URL anyone can visit. See Certificates and awards.
